NAKURAT sa US ang Iran: Ang “Midnight Hammer” Naghatag ug Makadaot nga Hampak sa mga Nukleyar nga Site

- The U.S. military launched a surprise attack called “Operation Midnight Hammer” early June 22, 2025. American bombers, fighter jets, and submarines hit Iran’s main nuclear sites at Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. Pentagon leaders say the goal was to cripple Iran’s nuclear program without hurting civilians.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said America does not want war but had to act to stop Iran from going further. The U.S. used powerful bunker-buster bombs and faced no direct fight from Iranian forces during the strike. Before the attack, American officials warned Tehran privately and pushed for talks instead of retaliation.

President Trump spoke after the operation and called it a “total obliteration” of Iran’s nuclear plans. He thanked Israel for its help in making the mission work but made clear that America is not looking for regime change or endless conflict.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has promised payback as world leaders worry about what comes next in the region. The Pentagon says its only aim was to stop Iran from building nuclear weapons — not start a new war — leaving Tehran under pressure as everyone waits for their response.
